The South Dakota Department of Health (DOH) is hosting a training event November 1 in Pierre for communities who may be interested in applying for the next round of SD DOH walk audit grants.
The grant application will be released in January 2018. Community representatives who attend will learn ‘walk audit 101’ and how walk audits can position communities for broader, longer term walkability improvements. The training event is free; however, travel expenses are the responsibility of the communities attending.
