2020 Convention: Alternative Education Opportunities

SDAHO’s Annual Convention will not be meeting in-person this year due to the coronavirus pandemic; however, it has not prevented us from continuing to offer resources and training to all health care disciplines across the continuum of care.

As an alternative to the live SDAHO Annual Convention, we will be having a series of webinar events in August and September that will focus on hospital and post-acute content. In addition, you can obtain continuing education credits from many of our webinar events.

We have developed an incredible line-up of topics and speakers and provides a great opportunity for facilities and others looking for healthcare education.  Facilities can register for one registration and have access to ALL sessions for ALL of their staff ($350/SDAHO member or $425/non-member for nearly 20 educations) or facilities can simply register for individual sessions.

Benefits of purchasing all Convention Education:

  • You have the option to watch when it works for your schedule (as every session will be recorded)
  • Registration provides access to everyone in your facility (1 member/non-member registration = all staff in your facility)
  • Incredible cost savings by not incurring multiple registration fees or travel expenses
  • Over 20 hours of nursing home administrator continuing education credits and over 14 social worker continuing education credits are provided
  • Access to secured participant portal that will include all information (connection information, handouts, recordings, etc.)
  • Variety of topics offered (leadership, regulatory, behavioral health, motivation, emerging topics)
