Overview:

The FEMA Public Assistance (PA) grant may provide funding to eligible applicants for costs related to emergency protective measures conducted as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Emergency protective measures are activities conducted to address immediate threats to life, public health, and safety.  Tyler Steen, Recovery and Mitigation Manager for  South Dakota’s Office of Emergency Management, will discuss the FEMA PA grant and related topics surrounding eligible applicants, costs and expenses, documentation, application process and then end with questions from the audience.

Presenter: 

Tyler Steen, Recovery and Mitigation Manager for South Dakota’s Office of Emergency Management has worked for the South Dakota Office of Emergency Management since 2013, Recovery and Mitigation Manager since 2016. Has participated of 15 presidential disaster declaration during this time.
