A new 84,000-square-foot Avera facility serving western Sioux Falls is set to open this month.
The Avera Medical Group Family Health Center on Marion Road features a 24/7 emergency department, urgent care, radiology, laboratory services, occupational medicine, therapy and eye care. The center will add family medicine, pediatrics and behavioral health services in December and an Avera Breast Center and obstetrics and gynecology services in January.
An open house is planned for Sunday, Oct. 9, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. CDT, allowing residents to tour the facility and enjoy free refreshments.
