“Ensuring the best and most current training and education for health care providers to maintain licensure or certification.”
Continuing education is essential for maintaining licensure or certification for health care providers. SDAHO assists our membership in meeting those needs by providing current and evidence-based education training in a variety of forums. Each year, SDAHO supports members with their licensure and/or certification by offering continuing education and contact hours at conferences and events, including Annual Convention, Rural Health Leaders and Post-Acute Partners in Care Conference. Additionally, other educational training is provided throughout the year through webinars and in-person sessions allowing members additional means to earn education credits.
Education also provides professional networking opportunities as well as collaboration with affiliates. Whether members are new to their career, or a seasoned provider, by participating at SDAHO’s education events, they have the opportunity to build their professional network. Members are able to interact with leaders from across the state in every discipline, to build friendships, seek new opportunities, and most importantly, surround themselves with the right people to help achieve their goals.
In addition to providing education across the continuum of care to our members, SDAHO also serves as a trusted source of industry information and data for state and federal legislators.
