Overview:

This presentation will include an overview of substance use disorder treatment services available in South Dakota and the services that have been developed as a result of the federal SOR funding.

  1. Attendees will be presented with statewide and national data.
  2. Attendees will learn about substance use treatment services that are available for clients within the Division of Behavioral Health system.
  3. Attendees will become familiar with services that are available through the Avoid Opioid campaign and MAT services in South Dakota.
Presenter:

Stacy Krall, Addiction Program Manager, Dept. Social Service – Div. of Behavioral Health

Stacy has worked as the Addiction Program lead for the past four years with the Division of Behavioral Health. In this capacity, Stacy provides technical assistance to substance use agencies across the state, provides oversight of the Division of Behavioral Health’s referrals and prior authorization for intensive inpatient treatment for adults and adolescents, inpatient and residential services for pregnant women and women with dependent children, and intensive methamphetamine treatment services. Stacy has been working closely with the Intensive Methamphetamine Treatment providers for implementing programming that aligns with best practices for treatment of stimulant use disorders. Stacy oversees projects related to the Medication Assisted Treatment, Peer Recovery Support, and Project ECHOs.

Prior registration is required to ensure connection information and applicable materials are distributed prior to the webinar. The registration fee for this webinar is $49 per SDAHO Member facility /$99 per non-member facility.
