Home health nurses and leaders are invited to participate in a free webinar on Oct. 20 focused on treating the whole patient.
The Life Maps Model: Treating the Whole Patient, Not Just the Disease webinar by All About You! Home Care Services is being offered through the Home Health Quality Improvement (HHQI) National Campaign as part of the quarterly Underserved Populations Network series. It runs from 1-2 p.m. CDT.
All About You! primarily serves a high-risk, underserved patient population and has developed an innovative model that addresses patient non-adherence in order to improve outcomes. Panelists Yvonne Gamelin, RN, and Rick Sales, managing partners for All About You! Home Care Services, will discuss the four areas of the agency’s Life Maps Model:
- Identification of a Support Person
- Safe Living
- Psycho-Social
- Community Support
The webinar has been submitted to the Alabama State Nurses Association (ASNA) for approval to award 1.25 contact hours. To receive continuing education credits, participants must watch the 60-minute webinar and complete an additional 15 minutes of related coursework in HHQI University.
