Summary
The IMPACT Act mandates a quality reporting program for Medicare Home Health Agencies utilizing OASIS data. Quality measure domains are: 1) Skin Integrity; 2) Medication Reconciliation; 3) Resource Use (Medicare spending per beneficiary/Discharge to community/All-condition potentially preventable hospital readmission rates); 4) Functional Status/Cognitive Function; 5) Incidence of Major Falls; and 6) Patient Health Information and Preference.
