Modern Healthcare Up & Comer Benjamin Anderson will open the Rural Health Leaders Conference in June.
Anderson, an engaging storyteller featured as one of Modern Healthcare’s Up & Comers in 2014, brings a passion for helping the underserved. He leads Kearny County Hospital, a frontier facility in Lakin, Kansas.
Anderson will share his passion and challenge his peers to raise the bar in providing care to underserved and struggling populations. He’ll kick off the Rural Health Leaders Conference with a conversation about the efforts to successfully revitalize his community’s health care services, which include innovative thinking around attracting and retaining providers, improving prenatal care and promoting a healthy population.
Join Anderson and South Dakota’s rural health leaders at the conference, June 14-15, at the Drifters Conference Center in Fort Pierre. A sleeping room block has been arranged at the AmericInn Fort Pierre, (605) 223-2358. Click here for more information, or to register online. We look forward to seeing you next month in Fort Pierre.
