Thanks to everyone who joined us for the 30th Annual SDAHO Walleye Classic at Glacial Lakes Hunting Lodge, northwest of Watertown, SD. With a special legislative session conducted and signage by Governor Daugaard, new rules governing the use of meandering waters opened up approximately 30 lakes for fishing.
Anglers meandered the Glacial Lakes like Horseshoe, Stink, and Bitter but others kept their strategy secret and only saying- going to fish a lake North of 212.
Keeping the traveling trophy for another year- Nick Fosness, Administrator/CEO of Marshall County Healthcare Center Avera in Britton, captained the winning boat with a total of 24.75lbs, and caught the largest walleye at 6.31 lbs. Craig Anderson caught the largest non-walleye catching a small mouth bass weighing 5.18 lbs.
