In conjunction with the annual convention, we will be hosting our first ever Board Boot Camp: “Key Governance Practices of Top Performing Boards” on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, 8:30 am – Noon (MDT) at the Rapid City Civic Center.
This boot camp will be led by Karma Bass, a much sought-after speaker, facilitator and consultant with deep knowledge and experience in governance, strategic planning, quality oversight and board effectiveness. Ms. Bass spent 10 years at The Governance Institute where she oversaw the prestigious biennial survey of governance trends in US hospitals and health systems.

The focus of the boot camp will be governance effectiveness, board best practices and how to position your board, medical staff and executives to collaboratively lead the organization to success in these uncertain and turbulent times.
