Sen. Mike Rounds will join the discussion on how to better understand the challenges and opportunities rural communities face with health care delivery and infrastructure when he participates in the “Reinventing Rural Health Care: A Case Study of Seven Upper Midwest States” discussion hosted by the Bipartisan Policy Center. The event will be held 8:30-10:00 a.m. CST on Jan. 17.
The Bipartisan Policy Center led a six-month effort to learn from those working in the Upper Midwest region to improve patient care. The findings from their efforts will be reviewed and discussion will center on how to create a sustainable, quality, affordable rural health care system.
