Registration for the South Dakota Association for Healthcare Organizations annual Continuing Care Conference on April 25 and 26 is closing in. The conference will be held at the Ramkota Hotel in Sioux Falls. Click here to view the complete agenda and to register.
The agenda this year includes tips to building a successful pressure injury team; recognizing and managing aggression; benefits of undergoing a mock survey process; caring for a new generation in long term care; LeadingAge public policy update; health information exchanges in long term care; and home health and hospice regulatory updates.
The conference will begin with an opening lunch and fellowship with post acute professionals from across the state, followed by “Leading or Reacting? Understanding Servant Leadership” featuring professor Tom Thibodeau. Professor Thibodeau will lead a discussion on creating an environment in which employees will be inspired to serve and excel.
Continuing education hours are available for nursing home administrators, social workers and nurses.
