The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced earlier this week the appointment of 28 members to the new Pain Management Best Practices Inter-Agency Task Force. The task force was authorized by the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act of 2016 to recommend updates to best practices for managing chronic and acute pain.
The first public meeting will be held May 30-31 in Washington, D.C. The meeting will be webcast.
