It’s time to create some big fish tales, reunite with old friends and establish new friendships at the South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) annual walleye tournament.
The 31st Annual SDAHO Walleye Classic will take place on Friday evening, June 22, and Saturday, June 23. The tournament will be held on northeastern South Dakota’s beautiful Glacial Lakes, with the home base at the Glacial Lakes Guide Service lodge near Florence, South Dakota.
The classic is open to all health care leaders – SDAHO members, family and friends … unless they are professional fishing guides. (That just wouldn’t be fair!)
This is a THREE-PERSON tournament, and the boat weight will be divided by at least three. If more people fish, it will be divided by that number or if a 14-foot boat is used, two anglers will be allowed. Each team will weigh their seven best fish; only three may be over 20 inches. The total weight will be used to determine the winner.
The cost is $40 per person. Please fill out the entry form and send a check for your team (made out to Gilbert Johnson) to SDAHO, 3708 W. Brooks Place, Sioux Falls, SD 57106. (Entry fees are non-refundable.)
For lodging, a block of rooms is available at the Quality Inn & Suites in Watertown, 605-886-3010.
Please extend this invitation to others. For additional information, contact Gilbert Johnson or Sheena Thomas at (605) 361-2281.
