The South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations was inducted into the AHAPAC Hall of Fame May 7 at the annual American Hospital Association meeting for achieving the AHAPAC contribution goal for 25 consecutive years.
SDAHO was able to accomplish this distinction through generous contributions from individuals employed by member facilities, through money raised by the Walleye Classic fishing tournament and with raffle ticket sales. More than $35,000 was raised in 2017, with a portion of that amount retained by SDAHO PAC and the remainder donated to AHAPAC.
