Bob Sutton has been named president and CEO of Avera Health, based in Sioux Falls. Sutton, who is currently vice president of human resources for Avera, will replace John Porter. Porter plans to retire as CEO later this year.
Sutton started his career with Avera in 2013 as regional president and CEO of Avera St. Mary’s Hospital in Pierre. He is a South Dakota native and graduate of the University of South Dakota.
