Applications are now being accepted for the South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organization’s second annual Quality Excellence Awards. The inaugural awards were presented last year during the annual convention and the tradition will be carried forward during the 2018 convention.
The Quality Excellence Awards recognize outstanding achievements, innovation and effective quality improvement and patient safety projects. There are three categories based on the type of facility: small/critical access hospital, large/PPS hospital and post-acute care facility. One award will be presented in each category to a health care facility demonstrating successful implementation strategies that have produced performance improvement in AIM areas.
