Free retention webinar series offered for rural and underserved health care facilities

The South Dakota Office of Rural Health is offering to rural health care facilities a free six-part webinar series examining recruiting and retention in rural and underserved areas. The training is offered through the National Rural Recruitment and Retention Network, also known as 3RNet, and normally costs $500 to participate.

The 75 to 90-minute long webinars start at 1:30 p.m. CT as follows:

  • Oct. 2 – Setting the Foundation of Retention through Recruitment
  • Oct. 16 – Retention through Behavioral Interviewing and Other Successful Hiring Practices
  • Oct. 30 – On Boarding, Stay Interviews, Administrative Structures
  • Nov. 13 – Strengthening Employee Engagement through Ongoing Performance Management, Coaching & Accountability
  • Nov. 27 – Clinician Well-Being and Resilience
  • Dec. 11 – Retention Hot Topics
