HRSA accepting applications for ANEW program

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is accepting applications for the 2019 Advanced Nursing Education Workforce (ANEW) program. The ANEW program supports academic clinical partnerships to educate and graduate primary care nurse practitioners (NP), clinical nurse specialists (CNS) and nurse midwives (NM) who are academically and clinically prepared for the unique challenges of transitioning from nursing school to practice in rural and underserved communities.

HRSA expects to award more than $37 million to fund approximately 53 recipients. Interested organizations may apply for up to $700,000 per year, of which $350,000 may be used for student training. See the announcement for more information.
