CMS Issues Factsheets for 2019 Medicare Promoting Interoperability Program

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has issued factsheets on changes to the Medicare Promoting Interoperability Program for calendar year 2019, and the new performance-based scoring methodology for eligible hospitals and critical access hospitals that submit an attestation. The new scoring methodology does not apply to Medicaid-only eligible hospitals who submit an attestation to their state Medicaid agency for the Medicaid Promoting Interoperability Program.
