Nov 21: National Rural Health Day

National Rural Health Day (NHRD) 2019 will be celebrated Nov. 21. Established by the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health, NHRD provides opportunities to spotlight the unique healthcare challenges that rural communities face and showcase the efforts of rural healthcare providers and others to address those challenges. An online toolkit has been developed for use by hospitals and others to Celebrate the Power of Rural and reach out to their communities with special events and activities. It provides samples of ways to celebrate, advertisements, flyers, templates, news releases and everything needed to set up a Walk with a Doc event.
