As part of Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, the National HPV Vaccination Roundtable invites health systems and public health organizations to join the launch event of the HPV cancer prevention initiative We’re In! 2020.
EVENT DATE: Tuesday, Jan. 28th, 2020 from 1-2 p.m. EST
REGISTRATION: Pre-registration is required. Register here.
PURPOSE: The HPV Roundtable convenes, communicates and catalyzes our members and key stakeholders to take action to increase HPV vaccination. In January 2020, we are issuing a nationwide call-to-action for U.S. health systems to prioritize HPV vaccination by using our new Influencer Toolkit, signing onto a nationwide HPV vaccination commitment called We’re In! 2020, and implementing evidence-based interventions within health systems. The Healthy People 2020 HPV vaccination goal of 80% offers a time-bound call-to-action to spur nationwide momentum. Staff and clinical leaders are invited to learn more about how their organization can join this national movement to prevent HPV-disease and cancers.
This initiative targets health systems, including community health center systems, integrated delivery systems, medical groups, accountable care organizations, and private practices. We also believe there is an important role to play for HPV/cancer coalitions, state health organizations and other public health partners. Join us to hear how your organization can get involved.
SPEAKERS: Hear from national thought leaders from the Office of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in addition to a physician leader and HPV Roundtable members. Attendees will receive access to free brand-new resources and We’re In! 2020 communication tools for print and digital formats.
WHY PRIORITIZE HPV VACCINATION: In advance of the webinar, check out our new videos shown below on why we need to vaccinate more adolescents and how HPV vaccination aligns with the triple aim. We will unveil new tools, resources, and videos on the launch. Register today!
