SD DOH Community-Based Funding Opportunity

The Community Capacity-Building Funding Opportunity is requesting proposals from communities interested in implementing the Communities that Care prevention system. This is a 2-year funding opportunity, with up to 4 communities eligible to receive up to $100,000 per year.

The funding guidance and application, plus the deadline for application submission is February 28th, 2020.

Funding Opportunity Question & Answers

The funding opportunity is primarily supported through the SDDOH’s Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In addition, the funding opportunity is also supported by general funds from the State of South Dakota to implement suicide prevention efforts.
