Everyday Innovations

During the COVID-19 pandemic, hospitals and health systems are overcoming incredible challenges through simple ideas. The American Hospital Association (AHA) has taken the next step to highlighting these ideas by creating Everyday Innovations. Everyday Innovations, is a new way for organizations to share and find simple yet impactful innovations for improving health care. A great example of an Everyday Innovation was found on social media from Samantha , a nurse anesthetist (CRNA) from Louisville, KY, now on assignment in New York City. Samantha shared some of her commonsense, on-the-fly lessons learned that are not only quick and easy, but could have a big impact on efficiently managing the complex care of patients. These simple, creative solutions will not only support peer organizations and partners to resolve common issues, but also inspire others to think outside the box. If your hospitals and health systems have an idea that solves a common problem in health care (does not have to be specific to COVID-19), please complete the AHA Everyday Innovation Submission Form.
No ideas are off limits!
