The National Council on State Boards of Nursing is hosting a webinar on the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). The NLC increases access to care while maintaining public protection at the state level. Under the NLC, nurses can practice in other NLC states, without having to obtain additional licenses. These free webinars are slide presentations and provide an opportunity for participants to ask questions during the Q & A session. There are several upcoming opportunities to participate in the webinar or you can watch the recording available online.

of brief webinars during which he will:​
- Provide an overview of the Nurse​ Licensure Compact.
- Explain Nursys®, the national nurse​ licensure database and E-Notify®.​
- Provide an update regarding the status​ of pending legislation in various​ states.​
- Understand requirements when​ changing primary state of residence.4.
