CMS Continues to Push Price Transparency Forward

In August, SDAHO shared an article on Price Transparency Rule: Strategic Considerations for Hospitals which included an on-demand webinar regarding the next steps hospital finance executives need to take. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is continuing to push their agenda forward following the latest release of several supporting items around the January 1, 2021 requirements. CMS established a new Hospital Price Transparency website for resources to help hospitals prepare. Additionally, CMS provided links to key documents as hospitals look to be compliant with this new requirement.
