Nominate a Healthcare Hero Today

Congratulations to all the South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations Healthcare Heroes. The hero campaign is designed to recognize and celebrate healthcare professionals from across South Dakota.

The campaign allows individuals to nominate a healthcare professional from all sectors within the industry. Some of the nominators work alongside those being nominated or within the healthcare industry. Not all those who nominate a healthcare hero work in healthcare. Some are family members, patients, friends, or neighbors that have noticed how hard their nominee is working and want to share their story with others.

Each Monday SDAHO shares a healthcare hero story from the list of nominees. To date SDAHO has recognized 25 healthcare professionals through the campaign and will continue to celebrate a new hero every Monday until the end of the year.

Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear scrubs, face masks, stethoscopes, and protective gowns. Each impact their colleagues, work environment and community in different ways. They come from various departments and have variety of titles including doctor, nurse, CNA, radiologist, pharmacist, activities assistant to housekeeper.

Congratulations to all our healthcare heroes and thank you for all you do. If you know a healthcare hero, Nominate a Hero Today.
