South Dakota Medicaid launches Provider Revalidation through New Provider Enrollment Portal

South Dakota Medicaid has launched a new provider enrollment portal to assist providers completing revalidation. Providers are required to complete revalidation for South Dakota Medicaid by June 7, 2021 by logging into the new system and verifying that their data was converted correctly and accurately reflects their current operation. Some data was unable to be converted and some areas have new fields for additional information.

The Provider Enrollment Portal functions separately from the Medicaid Provider Online Portal used to check eligibility, submit claims and view remits. South Dakota Medicaid sent emails with login credentials to individuals who previously completed a registration request for one or more Billing NPI.

A user guide for the new system, video trainings, and instructions for provider revalidation can be found here.
