Clearing the Smoke: Clinical Evidence

As you look for continuing education hours or are searching for content for yourself or your team, especially as it pertains to medical marijuana, SDAHO’s Learning Hub is a great place to start. The SDAHO Learning Hub serves as an online store to purchase from our collection of recently recorded webinars on everything from leadership, regulatory, patient/resident care, human resources and more. As South Dakotans focus on the many different areas pertaining to the legalization of medical marijuana, SDAHO has provided a number of resources regarding medical marijuana to help keep members up to date on the issue. Our collection of recordings on the impact of legalization of marijuana on healthcare are all available for free.

The description of side effects of marijuana use and evaluating the level of evidence for marijuana use in various disease states was recently discussed during a SDAHO webinar titled: Clearing the Smoke: the Clinical Evidence of Marijuana Use. The webinar was led by Jeremy Daniel an Associate Professor at SDSU College of Pharmacy & Allied Health Professionals.

Here is an excerpt of Jeremy Daniel’s presentation as he focuses on level of evidence.
