SDAHO Holds Legislative Forums Across the State

SDAHO held legislative forums in Sioux Falls, Aberdeen, and Rapid City.  The discussions were engaging with participation from legislators, community and health care leaders to discuss state and federal issues.

SDAHO CEO, Tim Rave, led the discussion by presenting information on top concerns facing healthcare providers. Discussion featured a wide range of topics including workforce in hospital and post-acute settings, Medicaid reimbursement within long-term care facilities, medical cannabis concerns, emergency medical services, and vaccinations.

Legislative forms are held annually to inform legislatures on important issues impacting healthcare in preparation for the upcoming legislative session.
