The second grant that impacts healthcare workforce is the Nurse Education, Practice, Quality and Retention – Registered Nurse Training Program. This program will increase the number of nursing students trained in acute care settings to address and manage social determinant of health factors and improve health equity and health literacy in underserved areas.
