It is like a little family because people look out for each other. They help take care of each other and each other’s children. They truly care about each other.”

In addition to a quality community to live and raise a family, Melanie says the work culture at Bowdle Healthcare Center is just fantastic. “Everyone is warm and welcoming. Everyone is eager to help when you need help and offer things that other places don’t always do.” In addition, the patients receive top quality care. “The patients are not a number here, they are definitely treated like a person and they receive that top quality care that they deserve.” In addition to the many offerings that Bowdle Healthcare Center offers it’s patients, there is a very good trauma team helping patients during their greatest needs.

For those live and work in the Bowdle Community, there are many things to offer families, including a school systems that offers students a pre-k program in addition to k-12grade all in one community. A bus route helps transport students to and from school. “It’s a very good school system and they are able to go to school in the very same building through all 12 years.”

Residents enjoy many outdoor activities the area offers, such as fishing, camping, hiking, and biking. “Even in the winter time there are activities you can get out and do, including an ice skating pond they put up in the winter here in Bowdle.
