SD Medicaid Eligibility and Enrollment Presented at 2023 Rural Health Leaders Conference

The South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) will provide a session specific to South Dakota Medicaid during the 2023 Rural Health Leaders Conference. This year’s conference is taking place June 27-28, in Ft. Pierre and is designed for CEO’s, CFOs, administrators, directors and other hospital and post-acute care leaders.

Changes are coming to South Dakota Medicaid, and SDAHO knows that our members need to understand these changes, and the impact this will have on our state’s healthcare industry and patients. Sarah Aker, South Dakota’s Medicaid Director with the SD Department of Social Services will join this year’s conference to discuss Medicaid eligibility and enrollment. In addition, Sarah will also look to upcoming changes and what healthcare systems need to be ready for, with time for questions and answers.
