AHA to Provide Advocacy & Regulatory Update to SDAHO Members

On Thursday, August 31, John Supplitt, Senior Director for the American Hospital Associations Rural Health Services as he discusses the 2023 rural advocacy agenda.  Mr. Supplitt will provide updates on flexible payment options, fair and adequate reimbursement, ways to bolster the healthcare workforce, the 340B program, the 96-hour rule and necessary provider provisions, and how AHA is advocating for telehealth coverage. He will identify opportunities to advocate for rural hospital priorities through grassroots advocacy and frame expectations for rural policy and advocacy entering the end of the fiscal and calendar years.
