The South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) recognizes the hard work and dedication of all healthcare quality professionals as we make plans to celebrate Healthcare Quality Week October 15-21, 2023.
Healthcare Quality Week was established by the National Association of Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) in 1985 to recognize and celebrate the contributions of healthcare quality experts in their various organizations. NAHQ offers free trainings, posters and zoom backgrounds downloads, and a planning guide all available on their website. 
SDAHO Quality Team will be promoting the week-long celebration with social media posts, email blasts and a few surprises. SDAHO encourages our members to recognize the dedication and contributions of their quality professionals as they move toward improving patient outcomes.
Lastly, we would like to take this opportunity to recognize Sarah Wulff, Quality Improvement Advisor & Infection Preventionist with Sanford Health as the first recipient of the SDAHO Distinguish Award for Quality Champion. We are thankful for your dedication to quality. Congratulations Sarah!
