SDAHO Soundbites Podcast: Dosing and Weaning Off Opioids Safety

Earlier this spring the South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) launched a podcast series titled SDAHO Soundbites. These short audio clips pull information from previous SDAHO webinars, designed to provide quick and easy learning for listeners.

This week’s SDAHO Soundbites features Dr. Jennifer Tinguely, Chief Medical Officer with Falls Community Health in Sioux Falls. In February of 2024, Dr. Tinguely provided two in-depth webinars on Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT). Both events were part of the Emergency Department provider toolkit (ED Toolkit) made possible in part by SDAHO’s Quality Integration department and the SD Department of Health.

In this episode, Dr. Tinguely talked about the process of dosing and weaning patients off opioids safely.
