SDAHO’s Kallee Rydland named Director of SDAHO Enterprises

The South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) is proud to announce Kallee Rydland as the new Director of SDAHO Enterprises.

SDAHO Enterprises was founded in 2016 as the wholly owned for-profit subsidiary of SDAHO. Rydland says her new role as director will focus on building and growing current relationships with endorsed business partners and strategic partners, but growing the division is also a priority. “I am looking forward to working with our endorsed business partners and strategic partners. We have a good foundation already created and now we can examine other opportunities to grow the division, which will bring more value to our members.”

SDAHO Enterprises brings value to SDAHO members by offering an array of relevant and timely solutions through their partners. This has included finding solutions to improve patient care, increase value, reduce operating costs, strengthen their financial viability, workforce challenges and even childcare concerns. Rydland says shining the spotlight on what we already have in place is a priority. “I am gaining a better understanding of the resources and tools our partners provide for our members. Our goal is to highlight these valuable offerings, helping those we serve recognize the benefits that SDAHO Enterprises brings to their facilities.”

Rydland says our members can expect growth for SDAHO Enterprises, but what that looks like is not yet defined. “Finding new funding opportunities comes with its challenges, but we are actively looking at ideas, some are even unconventional methods of growth that still bring value to our members. We are thinking outside of the box as we look to the future for this division, but never losing sight that our number one priority is our members.”

Rydland joined the SDAHO team in 2017, serving as the Executive Assistant to the President/CEO of SDAHO. Shortly after she would also take on Director of Operations for the association. Prior to SDAHO, Rydland worked for Avera Health in Sioux Falls. “I’m excited about this next chapter and what the future of SDAHO Enterprises will bring for our partners, our members and the association.”

SDAHO Enterprises is independently managed from SDAHO and includes a separate operating plan, budget and governance board.

SDAHO Enterprises brings greater value to members by offering partnership programs that take advantage of the association’s collective membership strength. The focus is to drive value through connecting health care organizations in South Dakota with a wide array of highly respected companies who provide service offerings that are competitively priced and delivered with exceptional customer service.

SDAHO Enterprises partners undergo an assessment and analysis process to ensure they meet established quality, financial and other service delivery standards. The hallmark of our Enterprises program centers on building strong and lasting relationships that deliver outstanding value, benefits, and overall satisfaction.
