The American Heart Association (AHA), in partnership with the South Dakota Department of Health, is launching a stroke rehab initiative in South Dakota and is currently recruiting Skilled Nursing Facilities, Critical Access Hospitals, and Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities to participate.
Facilities will implement evidence-based guidelines to enhance their stroke rehab programs, collect data, and participate in monthly statewide virtual learning collaboratives. All participating sites will receive a $10,000 participation stipend per year for up to 3 years.
Join the virtual webinar on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 in order to learn more about this post-acute stroke program and how to get involved.
Register for the webinar here.
An additional link for the media launch of the initiative on October 9 can be found on the attached flyer.
A recording of the webinar will be sent out to all registrants after the live session.
