The South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations welcomes Rachelle Daniels to the team as the Executive Assistant to the President/CEO. In this role Daniels oversees the management of the association’s President/CEO Tim Rave, while also assisting in the coordination of events and projects. Daniels will also provide support to SDAHO’s Board of Trustees.
Prior to SDAHO, Daniels was the operations assistant for United States Senator John Thune. There she managed state staff schedules, events and assisted in scheduling Senator Thune’s in-state schedule. Daniels oversaw the intern program, administrative functions and streamlined the daily office operations to ensure efficiency. “Working in Senator Thune’s office was an invaluable experience that enhanced my understanding of public service and legislative processes. Daniels also brings to SDAHO experience working in the non-profit sector with the South Dakota Trust Association. Her experience and strong skill set in organization and event coordination, alongside her ability to excel in high-pressure environments, will benefit the association, its mission and members. “With my background in organizational management, event coordination, and relationship-building, I am well-prepared to support SDAHO’s mission while fostering collaboration, innovation, and growth among its members.” Rachelle Daniels – Executive Assistant to the President/CEO

Daniels grew up in Pierre and today calls Sioux Falls home. She and her husband Joe have been married for 20 years. They have three children, a daughter (20) is a student and cheerleader at the University of Kansas, two sons, Carson (17) a soccer enthusiast who will graduate from high school in 2025; and Westyn (14) who is active in football and basketball.
