South Dakota Leadership to speak at SDAHO 2025 Rural Health Leaders Conference

The South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) is proud to host the 2025 Rural Health Leaders Conference, scheduled for June 25–26, 2025, at Drifter’s in Ft. Pierre, South Dakota.

This year’s event is designed for rural healthcare leaders engaged in strategic planning, operations, and team leadership. The conference will feature a dynamic lineup of speakers and sessions focused on the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing rural healthcare today.

SDAHO is honored to welcome two of South Dakota’s top leaders to this year’s event:

  • Governor Larry Rhoden will open the conference with a keynote address highlighting opportunities in the Rushmore State and sharing his vision for South Dakota’s future. His remarks will take place on Wednesday, June 25 at 12:00 PM CT.
  • Attorney General Marty Jackley and Deputy Attorney General Amanda Miiller will present “A Peek Behind the Curtain of the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.”  This critical session will provide an overview of the SD Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, discuss the different mechanisms by which an investigation may be triggered, and provide valuable insights into achieving favorable outcomes short of litigation. Healthcare executives will gain an understanding of what goes into making prosecution decisions, and what steps CEOs and C-suite leaders can take to protect their institutions and strengthen community trust.| This sessions is scheduled for Thursday June 26, 11am, CT
