The American Hospital Association (AHA) 2026 Dick Davidson NOVA Award recognizes hospitals and health systems that demonstrate outstanding collaboration with community partners to improve health outcomes and community well-being. Applications are being accepted through Oct. 14. Up to five winners will be honored at the new AHA Healthier Together Conference, May 12-14, 2026, in Dallas.
How do you know if your hospital or health system is ready to apply?
- The program described in the application must be operational for at least 2 years.
- The program must have demonstrated positive impact in the community, and documentation of or data on the program’s effectiveness is available.
- The program is sustainable and can be replicated in other communities.
- The program improves equity in your community
