CMS reinstates risk adjustment payments

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a final rule that the agency says clarifies its methodology for calculating the Affordable Care Act’s risk adjustment payments to insurers for the 2017 coverage year and clears the way for CMS to begin making the payments again.
