Hot off the press is the Hospital Impact Report 2020 from Iowa Healthcare Collaborative (IHC). This report illustrates the combined 147 South Dakota and Iowa hospitals’ impact in the recent Hospital Improvement program to reduce harm and 30-day readmissions. Avoiding cost, harm, length of stay and mortality was achieved by the hospitals through data driven execution and special initiatives to catalyze results. Please congratulate the 42 South Dakota hospitals for all of their hard work and dedication for keeping our patients safe and improving outcomes for patients and families across our state.
