The Nurse Licensure Compact (NCL) increases access to care while maintaining public protection at the state level. Under the NLC, nurses can practice in other NLC states, without having to obtain additional licenses.
Beginning in January, NCL is offering a series of topic – specific webinars geared toward helping you get the additional information and education you seek. There is no cost to attend and registration is available on the National Council of State Boards of Nursing website.
Webinar topics include:
- Overview of the Nurse Licensure Compact
- Update regarding the status of pending legislation in various states
- Explanation of Nursys, the national nurse licensure database and E-Notify
- Requirements when changing primary state of residence
