On October 18-21, 2021, SDAHO is partnering with LeadingAge New York to offer a Recreation & Activities Professionals Webinar Series, where participants can earn up to 11.5 hours of NCCAP credits. Nationally-renowned speakers and recreation and activities experts, such as Barbara Speedling and Cat Selman, will share information and ideas on best practices in programming and resident care that you can immediately put into practice.
This event will feature topics such as:
- Meeting the Activity Needs of the Younger Resident
- Residents Rights to Sexual Expression
- Preventing Resident-to-Resident and Resident-to-Staff Aggression
- Meeting the Activity Needs of Younger Populations in Nursing Homes
SDAHO members will receive the LANY member pricing when registering through LANY’s registration process. Application has been made to the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals for 11.5 hours of certification credit. If approved, credit will be awarded upon request via credit form and verification of hours attended.
