In this session, Lisa will lead you through a unique virtual experience where you will practice the 3 C’s of being a daring leader. You’ll leave feeling more kindness toward yourself, more focused on what’s most important, and with the shot of courage it’ll take to keep serving the people in your life.
PPS Hospitals and Critical Access Hospitals must comply with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Conditions of Participation. According to CMS and accrediting organizations such as DNV and Joint Commission, one of the most cited deficiencies is the within that condition, most non-compliances come from the regulations governing abuse, restraints and seclusion.
The session will review the No Surprises Act part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act issued December, 2020. Regulatory Requirements of Parts I and II related to surprise billing will be discussed. Operational considerations for compliance will also be highlighted.
Burnout rates have skyrocketed during this turbulent time in healthcare. Resilience programming has been shown to improve staff well being and retention, as well as improve patient safety and satisfaction. This four part series will allow practitioners a deeper understanding of burnout and the factors that influence it. In addition, each session will offer practical, evidence based strategies to build resilience that can be immediately implemented into work and life.
Long-term care leaders are traumatized, fatigued, disillusioned and, in some cases, hopeless to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. With many seasoned leaders opting out of the next chapter of long-term care, valuable experiential knowledge and support is out of reach for a new generation of leaders. This program will inspire a renewed energy and willingness to move ahead in those contemplating jumping ship. Moreover, this conversation will motivate a new leadership perspective, moving all leaders to be creative and tenacious in meeting the challenges of the emerging culture of long-term care.
