The South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) is looking for education presentation proposals for the 2023 calendar year. Continuing education is essential for maintaining licensure or certification for healthcare providers. Each year SDAHO supports members with their licensure and/or certification by offering continuing education and contact hours year-round through webinars and in-person events and conferences.
In 2022, SDAHO began offering virtual and on-demand education as part of a member’s benefit. This has allowed SDAHO members the opportunity to gain essential career development and contact hours as part of their facilities membership dues. SDAHO also archives all webinars on the SDAHO Education Portal, which gives members the option to watch live or the recorded version at a time that is more convenient for their schedule. This past year, SDAHO provided a record number of professional development webinars, providing education for members across the continuum of care and served as a trusted source of industry information for all who participated.

There are proposal guidelines:
- Submissions will be reviewed to ensure it meets the educational needs for hospital, long term care, home health, hospice, physician and trustee topics. Submissions must be educational, not promotional, in nature.
- If you have more than one proposed presentation, you must submit a separate online submission form for each separate proposal and include all the required information for EACH presentation you would like to be considered.
- SDAHO does not guarantee that your specific proposal nor any submitted presentation proposal will be selected, accepted and/or incorporated into SDAHO education offerings.
- Proposals submitted for consideration for a webinar, half or full day format can be submitted any time.
