Health care providers can now access an updated Inpatient Hospital Services provider manual published by theĀ South Dakota Medicaid Department of Social Services. The updated manual primarily reflects clarifications of current coverage. Inpatient hospital providers should review the updated manual. Specifically, providers are encouraged to review updated guidance regarding continued stay requirements. In addition, providers should note updated condition code billing requirements for induction and cesarean section deliveries.
