What is the SDAHO Nurse Leadership Program?
The SDAHO Nurse Leadership Program is designed to provide current nurse leaders and emerging nurse leaders education that can immediately be applied to their current role. The intimate class size of 30 allows for high degree of engagement with peers and content experts.
What topics will be covered in the SDAHO Nurse Leadership Program?
There will be a variety of topics presented by South Dakota nurse leaders and other healthcare industry leaders, such as Crucial Conversations, Health Care Ethics, Health Care Finance, HR and legal aspects of employment. The ability to network with your peers and content experts from across South Dakota also allows for added in-depth discussions specific to the needs of your organization.
How long is the SDAHO Nurse Leadership Program?
The SDAHO Nurse Leadership Program is a blend of in-person and virtual sessions for a total of 10 sessions, starting in January 2025 and ending in early October 2025.
What does successful completion of the SDAHO Nurse Leadership Program look like?
- Attend at least 8 of the 10 sessions, 2 of which must be in-person events.
- Submission of final independent study project ~ this is built after each session by reflection, planning, and action and then synthesizing the content into a final document.
